Singer, songwriter and live performer, AWEN comes from a culturally rich background. Half French, half Senegalese, AWEN studied classical music in France for a decade in her early years. In 2013, she moved to Asia to pursue her career as a lawyer in Hong Kong but life had other plans for her. In 2016, after her dad passed away she decided
to quit law and chase her dream to become an artist. In 2019, she released her debut solo EP while also collaborating with some of afro house’s rising stars such as Floyd Lavine, Daniel Rateuke, Caiiro and Enoo Napa. Her music was quickly supported by famous artists of the scene, starting with Black Coffee.
